Butcher’s broom is a popular herb for leg cramps, swelling, sensations of heaviness, veinous insufficiency, and hemorrhoids. Its constituents tone and tighten the blood vessels, helping to reduce inflammation and improve circulation by preventing blood from "pooling" in the veins. It also acts as a diuretic and mild laxative.
