Agrimonia eupatoria 

Agrimony is a superlative remedy for tension. It is particularly good for those whose façade of cheerfulness obscures deep gloom or intense emotional turmoil. Agrimony flower essence addresses this emotional state on an energetic level, while agrimony tea or tincture acts more physiologically.  Agrimony is mildly astringent and tonifying, making it useful for tightening tissues and holding back fluids and discharges.  It makes a good remedy for diarrhea and excessive urination, and is great for kids who are potty training or struggling with anxious bed-wetting. Agrimony is also useful for menstrual irregularities, including excessive menstrual flow and severe cramping with uterine or ovarian congestion.  For painful menstruation, it is best blended with antispasmodic herbs such as crampbark.  Agrimony can also be useful for flu symptoms, including intermittent chills, fever, and joint pain.
