Eriodictyon californicum 

Yerba Santa is a warming and drying herb. It is good for a constant cough with copious white phlegm. It helps tone down inflammation in the lungs, sinuses, and bronchi. When applied topically, it can be useful for the pain and itch of poison ivy and poison oak. Yerba Santa is also sometimes included in herbal smoke blends!
