Geranium maculatum 

Cranesbill is one of the safest and most effective astringents for gastrointestinal complaints such as diarrhea, hemorrhoids, and peptic and duodenal ulcers.  It prevents excessive secretion from the mucosa, and helps to improve the quality of the excretions. Cranesbill acts on the mucosa of the mouth, stomach, large intestine, lungs, and urinary tract. It may also be helpful to staunch heavy menstrual flow or vaginal discharge.
