Larrea tridentata

This potent antibacterial is also known as creosote bush or greasewood due to the sticky, strong-smelling resin found in its leaves.  Chaparral has traditionally been used as a topical treatment for bacterial and fungal infections. It is great for skin irritations such as athlete's foot, bug bites, wounds, and burns.

*Internal use of chaparral may be unsafe during pregnancy and nursing. This should not be considered a full list of all possible contraindications*
