Nutmeg improves digestion and is useful for flatulence, diarrhea, and vomiting. Nutmeg powder is a delicious addition to pudding, custard, ice cream, baked goods, and spiced hot drinks. Its mild sedative properties make it a common addition to hot toddies and bedtime teas.
