Rosmarinus officinalis 

Rosemary is more than just a tasty culinary seasoning! It has long been used for increasing memory and cognitive function. Blended with other brain-health herbs, it makes a great tea to sip while studying or working. It is used in dream pillows or medicine blends geared to promote lucid dreaming and dream recall. Rosemary is also helpful for relaxing smooth muscles, reducing inflammation, regulating blood pressure, clearing stagnant energy, and fighting bacteria. It is are wonderful for respiratory complaints, congestion and coughs. The essential oil can be included in massage oils and rubs for tight, sore muscles. Diluted in a carrier oil, it may also be applied to the soles of the feet or chest during viruses and respiratory complaints, to the temples for headaches, or near the adrenal glands for fatigue and sluggishness.
