Arctostaphylos uva-ursi
If you live in the Northern half of the United States, you’ve probably walked past this plant many times. These powerfully astringent leaves, also known as bearberry leaves, have a cooling and drying effect. In combination with other herbs and dietary changes, uva ursi is often used for UTIs. It can help to treat kidney and bladder diseases by strengthening and toning the urinary tract. Uva-ursi is also an ingredient in the traditional Kinnick-Kinnick smoking blend.
*Uva ursi may not be appropriate for use during pregnancy or nursing. This should not be considered a full list of all possible contraindications.*

"If you want to change your life and overall well-being take the first step and visit the Herb Shoppe. They are so knowledgeable in herbs, flower essences, and everything vital to life. I am so very grateful for this store."
"The herb shoppe is amazing! I had such a positive experience and the staff was so patient and helpful. As a newbie to herbalism and apothecary, it's so refreshing to be guided and helped out without any judgement. Vicky is super awesome and knows so much about herbalism and essential oils. Great selection of herbs and they have some delicious kombucha on tap."
"This place is amazing. The staff there are always very helpful. Reasonable prices for a large selection of herbs, teas, etc. They have smudge sticks and other things too. I am a huge fan of their turmeric chips for my inflammation. It's better than taking ibuprofen, and I can just drop a few chips in my tea."
